Day 1: Arusha

On arrival at the airport, meet our experienced guide. You will then be chauffeured via the bustling town of Arusha to the Legendary Lodge a boutique lodge which boasts of luxurious private rooms, gourmet dining, relaxing spa treatments, and top-notch hospitality

Day 2 & 3: Lake Manyara National Park

You will be driven to Arusha Airport, where you will board a flight to Manyara Airstrip. Enjoy your first game drive en route from the airstrip to &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. The diverse habitats of Lake Manyara National Park range from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. The park is famous for it unusual tree-climbing lions and vast elephant herds. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes. The park also features a ground-water forest, acacia woodland and the Maji Moto hot springs.

Day 4 & 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

You will be collected at &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge and driven with fellow guests to Manyara Airstrip.  (approx. 3 and a half hour road transfer). You will be collected at Manyara airstrip and driven with fellow guests to &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.  (approx. 1 and a half hour road transfer). You will explore the crater this afternoon. Linger for two nights in a sumptuous suite at &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Your stay is on a full board basis, including game drives on the Crater floor and park fees.    

The Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania is all about the game experience. Activities to take part in are thus, centred around the wildlife and the magnificent surrounding wilderness. The landscape is rich with spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is rich with luxurious comforts that perfectly compliment this extraordinary place. Spend the next three days on thrilling game drives. As the sun breaks and a new day dawns, a gentle tap at your Grumeti Serengeti’s Camp cottage door will awake you to the freshness of the enthralling day that lies ahead. Sipping fragrant tea or coffee and nibbling on biscuits or rusks, allows you a little time to daydream about the experience that you will soon embark on. Climbing into an open 4×4 safari vehicle, the adventure begins and you and your guide will set off on the game drive of a lifetime. Whether it is the Big Five or the massed herds of the Great Migration, Africa’s wild awaits your arrival. A short, scenic break for a hot drink and a snack will be enjoyed as you absorb this incredible wilderness around you.

Day 9: Arusha – Departure

Wake up at sunrise for your last game drive; who knows, you may see some wildlife that you hadn’t seen before. Return to the camp and collect your bags and transfer to the airstrip for your Scheduled flight to Arusha airport. A day room has been reserved for you at the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will get some time to freshen up before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight
